LadyBalance was founded by Inge Dorthe Hansen, a dairy engineer specializing in microbiology
They discovered that many women suffer intimate discomfort without finding lasting solutions. So they began experimenting with a simple and natural approach- based on lactose -and the results spoke for themselves: products that strengthen the microflora and bring peace and wellbeing to everyday life.
But sharing this with women requires more than knowledge - that’s where Heidi Husballe comes in.
Heidi Husballe – The Strategy Behind It All
LadyBalance was founded on a strong professional foundation when Inge Dorthe developed the products based on scientific research and clinical experience. During the first many years, the products were used and recommended by healthcare professionals, gradually building a loyal customer base.
As the company reached the next stage of its development, Heidi Husballe became part of the journey. With a strong background in marketing and strategic business development, she recognized the potential to make LadyBalance more visible and accessible to even more women.
Although Heidi is not a researcher, she has a unique ability to communicate complex knowledge in a way that is relevant and easy to understand in everyday life. She has played a key role in further developing the LadyBalance brand, strengthening its communication, and creating a clear strategic direction for the company's continued growth.
Today, Heidi works closely with the rest of the team, focusing on strategy, the customer journey, and delivering real value to every woman, while always respecting the strong foundation on which LadyBalance was built.
